Spongebob Squarepants Movie on DVD
"The Spongebob Squarepants Movie" has just been released on DVD. If you’re a Spongebob fan then this film is definitely a must see.
The Hilarious story revolves around King Neptune’s missing crown.
Bikini Bottom is thrown into chaos when Mr. Krab is accused of stealing the King’s precious headpiece. The King is sure to kill Mr.Krab unless someone can prove his innocence; this is where the hilarious adventure begins! Spongebob and his reliable friend Patrick the starfish step up to the challenge and set off on their journey to Shell City in a bid to retrieve the missing crown and save their friend’s life!!
The famous Nickelodeon characters new film was released on DVD in May and is rated PG.

From Shrek to Sharks
After the big success of ‘Shrek’, another cartoon blockbuster has just been released, called ‘Shark Tale’.
It is a story about a gang of mobster sharks, and there are lots of very famous people in it, like Will Smith, Robert De Niro, Jack Black, and Angelina Jolie. Christina Aguilera sings the theme song.
The story centres on the Mafia-like antics of a group of sharks and fish that live on a tropical reef in the sea. Don Lino is a Great White Shark who rules the reef, Oscar is a wise-cracking street-hustling fish, and Lenny is Don’s vegetarian son. The gang can be seen in cinemas around the country this month.
Spiderman Returns to the Big Screen
Tobey Maguire returns as the easy-going Peter Parker in the long-awaited Spiderman 2. Peter, once again, is caught between two worlds – that of a college student and a superhuman crime fighter.
Spider-Man's life becomes very complicated when he meets his new enemy, Otto Octavius, (Alfred Molina) who has been come back as the maniacal and multi-tentacled "Dr. Oc."
At the Spider-man 2 premiere in Dublin, singer and actress Samantha Mumba stole the show wearing a diamond studded dress that was shaped like a web. She also had a giant diamond ring in the shape of a spider. This dress is going down in the record books as being the most expensive dress to be made so far. It is worth seven and a half million pounds!
Second Shrek Film Due Out Next Summer
Shrek fans will be delighted to hear that Shrek 2 will be coming to cinemas next summer. The film will open up with Princess Fiona coming back from her honeymoon with Shrek.
The two receive a letter from Fiona's parents inviting them to dinner in their kingdom far far away. The only problem is that Fiona's parents don't know she has turned into a loveable ogress.
Mike Myers once again does the voice of
Shrek, Cameron Diaz does Fiona's and Eddie Murphy comes back once again as Donkey.
Will Samantha be Disney Mumba 1?
Pop
star Samantha Mumba is battling with pop
sensations Kylie, Sophie Ellis Bextor and Atomic
Kitten for a top award from Disney.
She
has been nominated for an award for Best Female
gong on the Disney Channel Kids Awards which
takes place at the end of the year.
Up
to ten million young pop fans will be invited to
vote for their favourite. Former Neighbours star, Holly Valence has been
nominated in the Best Newcomer category after
her British number one debut single, Kiss Kiss.
Pop Idol judge Simon Cowell will fight with the
Queen of Mean, Anne Robinson of Weakest Link
fame, for the Best Villain Award category.
And Pop Idols winner and runner-up Will Young
and Gareth Gates will be embroiled in yet
another poll battle against each other as
they've both been nominated for the Best Male
title.
